TALES FROM THE MASAAI MARA - HOT AIR BALLOON & BREAKFAST IN THE WILD EXPERIENCE -

No Kenyan Safari is complete without a tour of the world-famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The Wildebeest Migration is one of the most breathtaking spectacles on earth. Every year, over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of zebras and gazelles cross the Mara River from the Tanzanian side into the Maasai Mara for a few months of grazing before returning to the Serengeti.

While in the Mara, make a point of riding the Hot Air Balloon at dawn, followed by a sumptuous breakfast served out in the wild.

It's an experience you will never forget!

CREDITS

During my time at Serena, I had the opportunity to visit the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. It was a truly remarkable trip. Made the Hot Air Balloon experience and Breakfast in the Wild - compliments of the Serena Lodge Manager - Herman Mwasaghua. My hand is on the ground!

I also remember meeting one of my genuine and long-term American friends, Stephanie Stenta(-James). A truly warm soul. She was reading a book at the pool, waiting for the wildebeest migration. Who does that? Years later, she still my friend (on Facebook).
